For the past 14 years, the ABS-CBN News Channel has been there alone, on top. It has been there throughout all the national events that we have experienced during the time the channel has been on-air. ANC has witnessed the Inauguration of three presidents, countless typhoons & natural disasters, tragedies & victories, an impeachment trial and a Second People Power. But Starting 2011, Will ANC finally have its match?
East Asians (mis)understandings…

RANDOM THOUGHT. It seems that some East Asians know their counterparts well, one example is the Korean Pop Group “TVXQ”, who performs not just for their Korean audiences but also for Japanese… and even had a Japanese album!
Another example is this, though i don’t know if they could even understood the language well.

Earlier, President Benigno Aquino III has called up the Philippine media, and organise an interview together with the major networks in the country, so that he could explain what happen, what should be done, and who should also be responsible on the Manila Hostage Crisis last Monday.
But instead of a serious discussion, the viewers were once again in another edition of a freak show.

I’ll go Sankaku mode for the moment… In case you have missed it, which was definitely impossible unless you didn’t watched the programme at all, TV5 has done some epic censoring with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood’s Episode 41 – JAP broadcast: “Naraku (??)” , ENG translation: “The Abyss”, FIL version: “Impyerno”…

Sacrifice... for that one goal.
Na-iirita ako kapag nakakakita ako ng post (o naririnig ko sa ibang tao) na sinasabi nila na “mahirap lang kami, at hindi namin kaya yan.” Kung tatanungin mo ako kung bakit, dahil masyado nyo naman na dina-down ang sarili ninyo at parang ang status ng pamilya mo ay wala nang makain sa pang-araw-araw!
Dito pumapasok yung sinaunang kasabihan na, “Kung Gusto, May Paraan… Kung Ayaw, May Dahilan.” At dito ko ipapasok kung bakit ako nagpurchase ng DREAM Satellite.

I guess I could apologise for my inactivity on writing on this blog, though I could give some explinations for not appearing for the past couple of weeks.
